Error Reports

Accessing Error Reports

  • Navigate to the Scheduling Work Center.
  • Select the Error Reports section.
  • Reports are generated based on the Term and Subject(s) defined in your Search Preferences.

Understanding the Reports Tabs

  • There are three tabs, each containing specific types of errors:
    • Classes – Issues related to course setup, meeting patterns, units, etc.
    • Instructors – Errors involving instructor assignments, availability, or conflicts.
    • Rooms – Conflicts or problems with room assignments and capacities.

Reminder: Click Refresh under each tab to ensure the data displayed is current.

Best Practices

  • Check error reports regularly throughout the scheduling process.
  • Promptly resolve errors to ensure all courses, instructors, and rooms are set up correctly.
  • Re-check after making schedule changes to confirm updates cleared existing errors.
