The following was sent out via email to all Veterans’ Education benefits recipients on January 23, 2017:
It’s that time of the year where students will begin to receive their first VA payments from their benefits (February 1, 2017 VA monthly stipends are issued).
All Post 9/11 Recipients: We will begin reporting tuition and fees tomorrow, January 24th (census date). Our office will be running at full speed in order to report all tuition and fees for CH33 Post 9/11 students, and are expecting to have all 500 of you completed by February 10, 2017. VA tuition payments typically post between the 1st and 15th of March.
All Students: here are a few quick tips on what you should do if you have any payment question:
Note: We are unable to access VA payment details.
- Create or login to ebenefits…Find the Education tab…Click on “VA Payment History.” Here you will find all pending payments, past payments and scheduled payments.
- Call and speak with a VA Education Counselor. 888.442.4551. The best time to call is between 0800 – 0900 M-F.
- CH 30 and CH 1606/07 Students: make sure you report your enrollment monthly through WAVE or by calling 877.823.2378. Failure to report enrollment will result in NO VA PAYMENTS.
Remember, you are only being paid for the 23 days you were enrolled in class this month, a prorated payment will be received.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us anytime by email at email@example.com or by calling 919.515.3048. Please give us 24 hours to respond, as we are currently processing a high volume of inquiries.
We wish you all the best this Spring 2017 term!
